we are very sad to report that vandals have used bricks to damage two of our buses from the newcastle hub. The buses were parked in kenton close to our new site.
journey has spent a year fundraising to buy new minibuses for our three Day centres.
many of our clients experience hate crime because of their learning disability and our centres are a place of safety, friendship and support.
when our sites or equipment are attacked this has a huge impact on everyone.
for the charity it means that we are now paying high costs to replace the buses and to hire transport. This is so disappointing in a year which has been really challenging for journey, our clients and families.
