since may, clients from the Blyth Hub have been working with The Friends of Crofton Field Community group towards making a border at Crofton Woods in Blyth.
this has involved clients looking after seedlings, lots of digging, weeding and removing stones.
It has been a really great community project for Journey to be part of in Blyth and clients have enjoyed working with others involved and seeing the border transformed.
special thanks to kevin and his family for all their regular visits in the evenings and weekends for checking up on it.
judges from Northumberland in Bloom and Blyth in Bloom visited the border and we’ll post an update when the results arrive in the next few weeks.
