Journey holds five quality marks: Better Health at Work, Disability Confident Employer, Investors in People, Mindful Employer and Leaders of Great Britain.
Each year Staff reach the finals of national awards. These have included:
- Best of British Care Awards
- National Learning Disability Awards
- Women in Social Care Leadership Awards
In 2021 we were chosen by the House of Lords as one of fifteen organisations providing best practice in the UK. We were featured in the Parliamentary Review.
Memberships
Journey is a member of a range of local infrastructural organisations giving strength to the Voluntary Sector. Now recognised nationally for the quality of our work, we were invited to join the Leaders Council of Great Britain, giving us an opportunity to raise issues important to the lives of people with learning disability at national level.
