activities specialists
If you are taking a career break, looking for work, recently retired, just finished studying or have some spare time, we would love to hear from you.
Whether you are a star baker, eco wizard, a master craftsperson, photographer, dancer or artist, your talents could really inspire people with learning disability. You could offer regular sessions or a one-off special. You will be supported by our life skills coaches and given a warm welcome from our clients.

job coaching mentors
If you run or work in a local business and would like to mentor people with learning disability about the world of work, we would love to hear from you.
Journey trains and supports clients hoping to secure paid work. the key to the success of our job coaching sessions are the links our team has built with local businesses. By working with your expertise, our clients are able to understand what skills they need to work and gain insights into different industries.
You could offer a visit at your place of work to explain how different roles in your business work.
You could come and talk to a group of clients learning work skills.
You could make a insights video for us to use for client training.
Please consider becoming a job coaching mentor and help someone’s Journey. Email info@journeyenterprises.co.uk marking your email volunteer mentor
trustees
Our small, friendly board meets bi-monthly. trustees are volunteers responsible for setting our business strategy, values and priorities.
Journey’s Trustees bring personal or professional expertise to the board. Most of our Trustees have direct experience of disability and/or unpaid caring.
