Clients
we're here for your Journey
Journey has been working with young people and adults with learning disability since 1982. We believe people with learning disabilities have the right to have a good job, be fit and healthy and have fun.
Our support workers will work with you to find out what you are good at and what you like. We will build on those talents to help you lead a more independent life and have the freedom to make choices.
We work in small groups in a training kitchen, café and a bakery. We have craft room, IT room and purpose-built kitchen, gardens, music sessions and drama.
Journey staff support people out and about at local gyms, sports centres, theatres, shops and much more. Every Hub has days out to places such as the coast, National Park and the City, enjoying time exploring our area.
Our Job Coaching service works with people who want to get paid work or volunteering. We will work with you find to find out what your good at, build your skills and confidence and support you meeting employers and using your job centre.
