Dawn has been very busy during the lockdown, helping her Dad do the shopping, tending to her garden and helping Mum around the house.
On VE day, Dawn made poppies for her neighbours, and around the housing estate a social distance street party was held to commemorate VE day.
Dawn said “I have been doing some poppy’s to go around the doors to cheer people up in this pandemic covid-19”.
Even during this hard times, Dawn still thinks about her neighbours and others and thinks of ways to cheer them all up!
Dawn and her Mum have been making cards and handmade jewellery, to hold a fundraising day for Journey outside her home.
Dawn has managed to raise over £60 which is incredible. Dawn made sure all her neighbours practised social distancing during her fundraising event and it brought a smile to everyone’s face.
From everyone at Journey, thank you Dawn!
